shadiworks came to fruition in 2005. It is located in the heart of Center Square in downtown Albany, New York. The multidisciplionary studio focuses on architectural design, interior, grapics and art. The aim of the studiois to create responsible and cost effictive creative solutions, no project is too small. Shadi Khadivi graduated from the Rhode Island School of Designin 2005 with a Master of Architecture. Upon graduation she received a Fulbright Grant to document a Kurdish squatter district in Izmir, Turkey. She has worked at Bergen Street Studio for Architecture in Brooklyn, NY, Friedrich St.Florian Architect in Providence, RI, and at Payette Associates in Boston. Shadi received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington. She was raised in Dallas, Texas and a native of New Mexico. She currently lives in Albany, NY. Shadi has taught part-time in the architecture department at the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston and in the Young Artist Program at the Rhode Island School of Design as well as Parsons The New School for Design. She also taught at City Arts in Providence where she ran a printmaking seminar for girlz express |
